Vacation Buy

This program allows the purchase of one to five days of additional vacation, to be used after earned vacation time is exhausted. By electing this coverage, you agree to all program conditions. Available only during annual fall Open Enrollment. Not available during New Hire Enrollment.

Eligibility
  • Full-time, non-union employees who have not reached the four-week vacation accrual rate before or during the benefit year.
  • Employees already at 10 years of service or hitting 10 years next year are not eligible.
  • Vice Presidents and above are not eligible.
Purchase Details
  • Available only during Open Enrollment.
  • Cost deducted each paycheck, in equal amounts, pre-tax.
Important Rules & Scheduling Purchased Vacation
  • Purchased vacation does not roll over.
  • Unused vacation reimbursed in last paycheck of the year.
  • Negative balance at termination will be deducted from final paycheck.
