To make sure you have financial protection, United Rentals offers several different types of Life and AD&D (Accident) insurance, provided through Prudential.
Basic Life Insurance – paid by United Rentals
Your coverage includes:

Voluntary Life Insurance
If you want more coverage, you have the option of electing voluntary life insurance coverage for you and your eligible dependents.

Increments of $1,000 not to exceed $25,000 for children age 6 months to 26 years (if unmarried). Coverage is $500 for children aged less than 6 months. Cannot exceed 100% of the employee amount. |
Guaranteed Issue (GI) and Evidence of Insurability (EOI)
When you are first eligible for Voluntary Life, you may purchase up to $200,000 Guaranteed Issue (GI) amount without Evidence of Insurability (EOI). If the amount requested is more than GI, you will need to provide EOI before the amount over GI becomes effective. For spouses, EOI must be provided for amounts in excess of $50,000 when first eligible and for any increases in coverage.
