To make sure you have financial protection, United Rentals offers several different types of Life and AD&D (Accident) insurance, provided through Prudential.
Basic Life Insurance – paid by United Rentals
Your coverage includes:

1x your annual base pay up to $125,000; benefit reduced by 50% of the original amount at age 70. | $1,500 of coverage up to age 70. | Child(ren): $1,500 of coverage from live birth up to 26 years. |
Voluntary Life Insurance
If you want more coverage, you have the option of electing voluntary life insurance coverage for you and your eligible dependents.

Increments of .5x up to 8x your annual base pay, not to exceed $2,500,000 | Increments of $10,000 up to $250,000, not to exceed 100% of employee coverage. | Coverage begins from live birth and continues to age 26 (if unmarried). Increments of $1,000 not to exceed $25,000 for children age 6 months to 26 years (if unmarried). Coverage is $500 for children aged less than 6 months. Cannot exceed 100% of the employee amount. |
