When Benefits Begin
For Full-Time Employees
Benefit coverage for new full-time employees begins as follows:
- Hourly and Salaried Employees: Immediately upon hire (retroactively after you elect your benefits)
- Rehired Employees: If you are rehired within 13 weeks of termination, you will automatically be re-enrolled in benefits with the same coverage you had prior to termination.
- If you enroll within 30 days of your date of hire, your coverage is retroactively applied back to your eligibility date. Any missed payroll deductions will be processed on your next scheduled paycheck after enrollment.
